Early winter morning in Pilanesberg National Park
Hi there, friends,
I am looking back again on a very busy and intense few months, with wonderful blessings and moments as well as some challenges.
I also wanted to share the good news that a lot of new works have been loaded onto the website, so please check it out! Lots of new landscape paintings as well as some abstracts.
The last time I spoke to you, I was getting ready for the exhibition in Pretoria, at the Tina Skukan Gallery. It was a very successful event, and I had the privilege to meet some amazing new people. I sold four works as well, and I trust that they will bless and bring joy in their new homes with their new owners.

Exhibition opening at the Tina Skukan Gallery. Me and my husband, Rassie.

I was so grateful to be able to have 21 works ready for this exhibition.
Our great happenings these past few months were welcoming a new baby girl as a grandchild in Ireland, losing a grandchild through miscarriage at 16 weeks, and then again celebrating life by celebrating my husband, who turned 60 years old. A lot of emotions and a lot to be absolutely grateful for.
But for now, I would like to encourage you to check out my website and take a look at the new work that was uploaded. The theme was: A Winter's Tale, and I focused on Landscapes and also Abstracting the landscape. I used some of the places that I visited lately as inspiration and developed it from there. I enjoyed making the work and trust that you will enjoy seeing them.
For now, I am taking stock after a bit of a break and working on small sketches to get back into things in the studio and explore options for some new work. I am also evaluating some of the exhibition works to look for the possibility of making some prints.

Stay the course- Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. 57 x 81 cm
For now, as the painting says: "Stay the course..." . May you be blessed and have peace until next time.
Much love,
Elise
